FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

01

Can I get the Fire & Ice Facial while pregnant?

Yes! iS Clinicals Fire & Ice facial is pregnancy and breastfeeding safe!

03

How many do I need?

With any facial treatments, we recommend a series. It is important to understand that all skin conditions are controlled, not cured. Therefore, there is no such thing as a one & done treatment. Fire & Ice can be safely completed monthly, and on your initial treatments it is advised to complete at least 4, spaced 4 weeks apart.

02

Does it hurt?

The “Fire” portion of this facial treatment is a gentle resurfacing combination of select active ingredients including sugar-cane extract & retinol. You will feel some degree of heat, however it is very tolerable and feels even more amazing when we finish the treatment with the soothing “Ice” portion & cool ice globe massage overtop!

04

What is the downtime / aftercare?

After any of our facials you will want to avoid excessive sweating & exercise for a minimum of 24 hours. Please refrain from using active ingredients such as Retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid or other forms of exfoliation for 5 days. You may experience mild dryness / light flaking of the skin. Remember to wear, & re-apply your favourite physical sunscreen every 2-3 hours!
