The Ultimate Exfoliation for Smooth, Radiant, Makeup-Ready Skin
Dermaplaning is more than just exfoliation — it’s the art of precision. Using a medical-grade surgical scalpel, this treatment gently removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) to instantly reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.
Performed exclusively at Skin Co Aesthetics by trained professionals using sterile, medical-grade techniques for optimal safety and results.
Please note: Dermaplaning may not be suitable for those with active acne or extremely oily skin. Your provider will determine if this treatment is right for you.
Beyond creating a flawless canvas for makeup, dermaplaning enhances the absorption of active skincare ingredients, maximizes
treatment results, and promotes long-term skin renewal. The outcome is skin that feels luxuriously soft, luminous, and refreshed.

FAQ
Is there any downtime or post care instructions?
After any of our facials you will want to avoid excessive sweating & exercise for a minimum of 24 hours. Please refrain from using active ingredients such as Retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid or other forms of exfoliation for 5 days.
You may experience mild dryness / light flaking of the skin. Remember to wear, & re-apply your favourite physical sunscreen every 2-3 hours!
Will my hair grow back thicker?
The most common myth, and the answer is absolutely not. With dermaplaning, we are not altering or in any way affecting the root of your hair follicle.
With that being said, it is impossible for hair to grow back thicker with dermaplaning.
How often can I receive a Dermaplaning treatment?
Most clients come every 3-4 weeks for a Dermaplaning facial!
Does it hurt?
Dermaplaning is effective by performing a gentle scraping motion across the skin’s surface. With hair removal such as waxing and threading, most people have the idea that all hair removal is painful, but
Dermaplaning is entirely painless. There are of course risks of cuts on the skin, however they are small and very minor as the pressure used for
Dermaplaning cannot cause a deep cut. If they do occur, these nicks and scrapes heal within 24-48 hours.
